To contact Rachel E. Montes Rachel@MontesHerald.com
I've devoted my entire legal career to leveling the playing field for people who have suffered injuries or loss at the hands of individuals and corporations. After working for one of the largest personal injury law firms in Texas, I started my own practice in 1998, specializing exclusively in the area of civil trial work and litigation, with an emphasis on catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. I have been helping injured people and their families ever since. I've helped hundreds of people seek justice in cases involving trucking negligence, fraternity hazing incidents, insurance bad faith practices, premises injuries, and defective products cases. Whether my clients settle out of court or seek justice in trial, I fiercely protect my clients and their rights. I've earned the respect and trust of other lawyers who have referred clients, friends, and family members to my firm for representation. I'm proud to be a trial lawyer and feel that trial lawyers are the voice for those who otherwise would not be heard. I’m proud to be in a profession that helps hard-working people stand up to the corporate giants that use fear and intimidation as their front line weapons of defense. I consider a successful case one that combines fair compensation with policy changes that create permanent safety upgrades that benefit everyone. This is more meaningful to me than anything else. I am a member of the board of directors for both the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. Almost as important, I am a season ticket holder and a big fan of the Cowboys and Mavericks. visit our firm website at www.montesherald.com Rachel Montes, former President of the Dallas Women's Trial Lawyers Association, and recognized by D Magazine as One of the Best Lawyers in Dallas Under 40, is a graduate of Texas Weslyan Law School and is a board member of the Texas Trial Lawyers and the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association.
